In looking at the dimensions, I think that a 110 would be my ideal, and a 120 or 90 would be my second choice. 90 actually is probably best given that it is probably a chunk cheaper than a 110. 120 would be awesome but probably cost a lot. I'm planning to buy a used complete set up when the right one shows up at a very good price.
Anyway, my question is whether or not I should consider 75 gallon tanks as well. They are the same footprint, the 90 is just a little taller, and the 110 a little taller, and 120 the tallest. (I already know I don't want the 125+, I want one that is 4 ft.)
One plus is that it would be cheaper, but it's worth paying more for the 90 most likely. It could take less waiting if I were open to getting 75's. Also it would be a little easier to do water changes (20% less water compared to the 90) so it'd use less salt. Oh also, I already have my floor supported so that is not a factor.
I feel like it's silly to not get at least a little extra height (90 sounds so much bigger and better) but on the other hand, it seems like it would pretty much just cost me more effort and money and height is not as good to have. Also it seems like then the tank should have more height to the rock that I put in it, or it will look so empty at the top, so that is more difficult possibly or expensive. But, a plus for the 110-120 or 90 is that it will be next to my freshwater 125 tank and the height will make it look better since the 125 is on an extra tall stand.
So given all that, I can't decide how much less/more I should pay for a 75 vs 90 vs the others.
