Hey there, I'm just posting this now...but I joined a while ago and have just been lurking around the forums getting ideas and researching new fish and fish stuff.I have a note book full of fishy info
I have had fish tank pretty much all my life but have only recently in the pass few years really been getting into fish for my self. Before my dad did all the work.The first tank I can remember that we had was a 26 gallon with HUGE goldfish and some other fish...which was a big NO,NO, but that was way before all these pet forums came around, and my dad had the fish before I was born too.After those fish we had a tropical tank that was stocked much better with livebearers,snails and some sort of loach.Anyways that tank started leaking an we got our current tank which is a 28.73 gallon (I measured it).In it we kept 3 pink tailed sharks which were the most awesome fish ever and were almost 8 years old when they passed away of ick.Them we have figure eight puffers,cichlids and right now I'm working on a South American community tank which at the moment has 4 black skirt tetras and 3 peppered corydoras.I also have a 1 eyed minnow, other minnows etc.. but their meant to be food.
On the non-gilled side of things I have 2 dogs; a sheltie and a yorkiepoo;a corn snake;pac man frog (might possibly be rehomed);and we foster kittens for the locat shelter right now we have 1 kitten who I'm not sure of the ago of but around 3ish-4ish months.
