In research, never trust your colleagues. I don't quite get the coworker's thinking though - "oh hey, my drinking water is blue... yum, mysteriously blue laboratory drinking water"

A friend of mine was given Ascaris spp. intestinal roundworms by a disgruntled colleague. The guy was a parasitologist, so the police tracked him down quickly.

That is so weird to me. Why would she drink it if she noticed it suddenly turned blue? I guess book smarts really doesn't give you any common sense huh?
