Hi all.

Quick question: I'm making an HOB refugium out of an AC50. My heater won't fit, so the plan is to drill out the bottom of the AC50 and epoxy on a pill jar to extend its length. Would there be any issues with using a run of the mill, two tube epoxy from Home Depot?

As long as you let it fully cure and harden it shouldn't be a problem. The store may even have some aquarium/drinking-water safe epoxy. Most of the time if something is food safe or drinking-water safe it leaches no human harmful chemicals. Read the packaging well before making selection.
