What can you do if you think your puffer is constipated?! Today I feed mine usually, but i guess maybe alittle more then usual. My other GSP is fine, he's not fat any more, he's back to normal. But my other one is still fat, he has the grey stress line and isn't moving around much. Also he's moving from side to side, kinda like tilting, trying to keep his ballance. What can I do to get him to pass his waste? Thanks!

this isn't going to help much, but i have an SA puffer that got 'backed up' once. it had an obvious lump in its belly and was acting a bit odd. it eventually passed it of its own accord and was fine afterwards.

i posted on here about it and the only things mentioned were the diet - is it of soft, wet foods (as well as crunchies) or is it dryer things that may be harder to pass?

i feed mine bloodworm, brineshrimp and daphnia (all fozen) and snails. i haven't had the problem since.

sorry can't be of more help.

is the puffer still blocked?

could it be something else causing the symptoms you describe?

He's better...thanks anyways!
I feed mine frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and squid. Live snails, crayfish, black worms and blood worms.
