My little 10g plant take has a honey gourami, a albino black-skirt tetra, and three oto cats.

Several weeks ago, I added a tiger shrimp hoping that it was big enough that the other fish wouldn't eat it. I saw it swimming around for a couple days. Even saw it swim right in front of the gourami's nose but the fish showed know interest in it. After two days, I didn't see it at all. I figured it must have gotten eaten.

So a few days ago, I dropped in 1/2 a seaweed pellet which I do for the cats about once a week. A little while later, I see the shrimp under a leaf chowing down on a bit of the pellet. I haven't seen it since.

So, after swim in clear view for a days, the shrimp has figured out a way to be virtually invisible most of the time.

Yep, I have had my amano shrimp which are quite a bit bigger disappear for long stretches of time. I actually thought I only had 2 left, but when I went to empty the tank they were in, I found 4!
