Hi there,

My name is Ed.

Myself and my lovely girlfriend Claire have recently set up a new aquarium in our house and are new to the world of fish-keeping.

We filtered our tank for 3 weeks and then purchased a 100W heater so we can keep tropical fish. After another week or so we decided to buy some fish...

So far we have introduced 3 guppies, 3 Plat, 6 various tetra, 2 ram and 2 fireshrimps.

So far so good - we have not lost any of them in a week and apart from a suspected pregnant guppy who is attracting a lot of attention from 3 of the tetra fish, there has been no hostility.

We'd just like to say a big hello to everyone here!

If anyone can confirm the pregnancy signs of female guppies it would be really appreciated!

We look forward to speaking with you soon,

Ed & Claire

Welcome to AC! I would post your question about your guppies in the General Freshwater Section of the forums for more attention. Hope you and Claire enjoy the site :)
