awww how cute! very nice pics! i brought my nieces to mystic over the summer and my younger niece kept screaming at my older niece that she was going to fall in, i dont think she got the glass concept. they had a really good time but my little niece wouldnt go close because "the water gets you" lol.

Very nice! I love Mystic Aquarium. My dd "swam" with one of the belugas there 4-5 years ago, and once we went to a wedding there. The wedding was cool, they closed the aquarium to the public and the tables were all set up inside right next to the aquariums. We were able to wander around outside, too. It was one of the coolest wedding receptions I've ever been to.

Very nice pictures Sploke. What kind of camera are you using? How did you take the pictures (flash,etc.)?

Its a Canon Digital Rebel XSi. No flash, I set it to manual exposure mode and set it for somewhere between 1/30 and 1/80 second exposure. This works great for general pictures on well-lit tanks like reef tanks, but it forces a very large aperture on dimmer tanks so you get a pretty narrow depth of field.

Yeah Liz and I were talking about doing our wedding reception there at one point, but decided it was just too expensive. Just the catering ends up being something like $110 a plate, plus facility rental costs, etc. My high school senior prom was there though, it was awesome.

Some of my kids have a season pass for the Aquarium they love it so much! You can spend hours there and never see enough! Great place to spend the day.

Schweet pics thanks for sharing it makes me sad though I have no sweet aquariums around me to do anything I would have to go to Sheds aquarium in Chicago which is oh 4 hours away :(
