I'm just in the process of buying all the equipment for my new 90 gallon with a Presurized CO2 setup. I bought a Reactor 1000 and am planning on placing it inline on the output of an Eheim 2028. I've been doing some reading and am now wondering if there will be enough pressure to get the water back into the tank using this setup. As the Reactor is sealed I don't want to put it on the intake end so I keep the crud inside the reactor to a minimum. Do you think I will need a pump? If so can you put a pump on the outake of a a Canister filter like that and what size would size would you need?

Thanks,
Jeff

I wouldn't try putting a pump on the outake of a canister filter. Try putting the reactor inline with the output and see how much GPH reduction you get first. Some people report better luck with the reactor inline with the input. Thats where I have mine. However, debris build-up is a valid concern. If all else fails, you just have to get an extra pump or powerhead. Thats just two more hoses in your tank though.;) JMO.
