I had a piece of plexi laying around in the garage and decided to try my hand at some DIY...

you can see where I busted the corner off the first piece that I snapped....I figured it out after that though. If it continues to hold, I'm going to make a hood that will come down enough to cover that so you'll never see it anyway.

It's been running for a little over 10 hours so far with no leaks! (DIY canister filter too!)
 
wish i was crafty to make stuff.......nice job how did you make the canister filter? easy to do?
 
I used a "Lock & Lock" container that I got at walmart (about $5) It was very easy to put together. I just stuck a water feature pump in the bottom. I found the DIY on google somewhere? Nothin' to it!
 
I f it continues to hold water that will be a very cool little tank. I have a lot of respect for people with the skills to make things like this well done on a great job.
