My Oscar and JD's new apartment

Okay, so I waited as long as could to put a thread up. I am getting antsy. I have a 150gal meeting me at my home on my lunch break today. I am going to try to borrow the camera to take some pics of it arriving, set it up~so on. Then tomarrow again after they go in! I am so happy for them. This is still not their permanent residence, just a great apartment to stay in until the house is built. i think i started a thread (or maybe not) about their permanent home. It will be a 12'X3'X2.5'T stock tank, i am equally excited about that, but we have decided to wait till after the holidays, and after we get a stand built and put some killer filtration on this tank. So of course, I already have a general plan for this tank once my O and JD get theirs. I'd like to do some Sevs and a BGK. So for now it will just be Hare and Rama. And I have already ordered an electric blue JD and Longfin albino oscar. I will deffinately not add any other fish to that until their house is done! I LOVE getting a new tank, the excitement makes me feel so alive! I love caring for my other tanks too, I guess I am just a whole hearted fish junkie addict, so i admit it, but i still aint quittin!

Well, I guess no one is very interested in this thread! Thats okay, I am still excited. The tank arrived just a minute ago, boy I have some scraping to do! I am going to put before and after picks on!!! probly tomarrow morning.

I was actually in a pretty playful, :joke:excited mood when I wrote that I suppose I was attempting to show how nuerotic I tend to get when I get a new tank:uhoh::shakehead:::nilly::hypnotized::thud::thud::hitting::dance::eek3::headbang2::headbang2::headbang2::dive2::cool-1::22_yikes: okay, I know enough with the smileys already. I cant wait to get home and take pics and scrape, definately scrape! I am gonna take some current pics of my other tanks too! so excited!

So far I've got plans for two oscars, two JD's a clown knife and some polkadot rays. I considered an arrowana, but I am still not sure on that one. I think if I put 3 rays and the 5 fish that will probly be pushing the stocking limit there! I think this 150 will be great for some tall plants and a ghost knife eventually, considering some sevs too. Does anyone have any good advice on plants that grow fast, do well in low/med light and can hold up to sevs picking at them?
