Hi everyone,
I have a 55 gallon with 6 rosy barbs, a firemouth, krib, paradise fish, 6 corys, could I add a green severum, or any other type of mild mannered cichlid to the mix.

I ended up getting a rainbow cichlid and the krib did not like him at all. The krib chased his all over the tank and wouldnt leave the firemouth or the rainbow alone. So I removed the krib and took him to the store. Now I have a firemouth, rainbow cichlid, 5 rosy barbs, paradise fish, and 6 corys. Is there anything else in placement of the krib to get that is the same temperment as the other two. The firemouth and rainbow seem to get along alright and hang out together and show no signs of fighting.

i wouldnt it sounds good at the moment a key hole would be punked by the firemouth and rainbow if anything you could add a red tailed shark but opt for a larger specimen..

I ended up getting an itty bitty black convict baby and will see how they get along as time goes by. The firemouth and the rainbow are young, but bigger than the baby con. I will leave the stock as is and let them grow up together and see what happens. If I have a disaster then I am getting rid of them all and converting to an african tank.

The Convict is kind of far from mild mannered!

 yep i agree with mostly with the convicts they tend to be little terrors and if you get a pair watch out here comes trouble.

lol You keep asking for advice and then doing whatever you wanted anyway. Not being mean, it just struck me as funny as I kept reading down the thread.
