Just wanted to say hello and thanks to everyone on the forums. I've read many great threads and articles that have helped me get my own 36 Gal Freshwater Aquarium on track.

Here are the fish that I have:

2 Jack Dempseys (1 male, 1 female)
1 Green Terror
1 Bumblebee Cichlid
1 Livingston's Cichlid
1 Acei Cichlid
1 Longfin Pleco
1 Pictus Catfish
3 Bala Sharks

I'm not sure about that stocking you have, do you plan on getting a larger tank in the future?

Going by your stock these are their adult sizes:
Jack Dempsey: 10"
Green terror: up to 12"
Bumblebee cichlid: 8"
Acei cichlid: (I love these fish) 6"
Livingston cichlid: up to 8"
Longfin Pleco: if it's a bristle nose then about 5"
Pictus Catfish" 6"
Bala Sharks: up to 16"

Can't wait to see the pictures

how is the pictus cat doing with the cichlids? I love these guys and would like to have one for my tank but I don't know how my own cichlids would react. Also as another suggestion acei really like to be in groups. Their behavior changes quite a bit once they have more of their own kind. I started with one and he didn't do much but I added 4 more and now they school and interact quite a bit
