So I was searching on ebay and came across this auction
http://cgi.ebay.com/3x-Co2-One-Way-Check-Valve_W0QQitemZ310101668364QQihZ021QQcategoryZ6679 4QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I was wondering if a person needs one? Or could a plain check valve be used?

Thanks

Wow $2 for 3 with shipping, I think I paid 10 each for brass check-valves.

You should have one if your regulator is below the aquarium, prevents moisture from entering your regulator.
