Shrimp Tank!

hey another thread for me... but this one is for shrimp..

i have a 5g hex right now with lots lots of hornwort and huge clump or java moss along with 7x ghost 3x amano 3x cherry and 1x oto

do a 1g water change 2xweekly
so is this good? could i add more... i dont think so but they're so tiny :)

i was just seeing other peoples shrimp setups
what kinds are cool with each other
that sort of stuff
 
i was gonna get some more next week with some more plants... i heard that both ghosties and amanos might pick on them
 
  • Your Amano will not breed in that setup they need Brackish/Saltwater for their young
  • Ghost might depending on the type of ghost they are there are several species called ghost shrimp
  • Your cherries will but the ghost are libable to eat the baby shrimp so kind of a catch 22
You could add more Cherries or Ghost but I have seen Ghost take down an adult cherry. I would just not expect any real survival rate of the fry as long as the ghost are in the tank.
 
thats what barbie said... the ghosts would strip the babies off the cherries
