fluval 205 hose size?

I was wondering what size the hose for the Fluval 205 is? I'm going to guess that the ID is 5/8"? I haven't found thin walled hoses at the local hardware store (Home Depot) so I think I might have to get Fluval replacements, whose ribbings I am not a big fan of.

I guess the non-Fluval option would be Eheim 16/22mm hoses?

Lowes has many sizes of tubing by the foot if you have them. HD by me only has spools of 2-3 sizes.

Agreed...I just rebuilt my python and found that Lowes has a much better selection of hose sizes per foot and not just 10' and 20' coils. See if you can get them to let you get you hose from a new roll though...as the thin walled stuff gets flattened out the closer you get to the spool core...at least with the clear vinyl tubing.

thanks. I need to go check out Lowe's then. It's a bit further away but if they have a better selection, then why not.
