I have a Loc-Line spray bar on my 90G aquarium. I run a pump rated at 581GPH through the 1/2" spray bar in the #21 spot from the image above ^
I was reading the Loc-Line Site and I found that the MAX flow rate of their Loc-Line systems are
1/4"--- 250 GPH 40psi
1/2"--- 478 GPH 25psi
3/4"--- 1140 GPH 15psi
Especially with the spray bar setup, there is a LOT of resistance inside the line. The "head" this pressure must add to your pump reduces the flow by large amount. So, with the ~500 GPH at 3-4psi that I would say goes through my spray bar, it is too much for the 1/2" Loc-Line system. At 3-4psi, it probably would not be able to flow unrestricted through the 3/4".
Anyone that has the Loc-Line setup, make sure your pump doesn't pump more than the Max flow rates of the system. At 3-4psi, for ~500GPH, the 3/4" is cutting it close....
