I'm starting to think about my stock for my 36gal planted tank. I would like to get a pleco or three and want to know what are my options. I'm fine with getting a BN but I would like to see what else I could look into. Tankmates will be corys and some rainbows. There is also some driftwood in the tank.

Thanks!

Gold Nugget (make sure to look at the smaller version), Candy Stripe L-137, Starry Night, Clown, Rubberlip........... those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Go to www.planetcatfish.com and browse through the cat-e-log there are a ton of plecos.

L201s, L134s, L254s, L399/400s. And those are just the ones I have that stay small. Good luck.

I picked up a female BN last night at the LFS (they didn't have any males). After acclimation she went straight to work on the algae. By morning the glass was spotless and she was resting comfortably on the drift wood.
