I have some Gold Spot Rabbit Snails(Tylomelania gemmifera) which are Sulawesi (Poso Lake) . Cool looking WC snails smallest is 2.5inch. Quite rare

are they similar to mts or nerites?

similar to mts but waaaay bigger and have fewer babies. Mine have already had babies in my tank. Will eat some plants though

Are they freshwater? Do good in hard water? Would MTS or ramshorns outcompete them?

Where can I get some? Realistically, I could go over to Indonesia and travel up to the lake-it's only 6hrs and ¥120,000 away for me. Of course there are the headhunters, the tout who want to sell me prime property in E Timor and all the other assorted traps and pitfalls laid just waiting for an unwary Japanese Tourist. Now if some kind soul would like to sell me some of these guys and whilst making a modicum profit ship them off to me here in Tokyo, I'd be most grateful.
