Extinct? Since when?
Instead of using 419 dollars on a 9 inch ecosphere, I would much rather buy a brand new 29 gallon tank, all new equipment, make it very nicely planted, and keep it up for 6 months.

Never heard of these before. How is it that it calls for indirect SUNlight and there isn't a problem with algae? Also it says you need NO filtration, how is that possible?
It's (sort of) possible because the shrimp, Halocaridina rubra is an algae eater and ridiculously hardy. It can only last so long though.
