How to get killies to lay MORE eggs?

So I got some killies and everyone says that they will lay around 15 eggs, well mine will lay about 1 or 2 eggs a day. What is the problem?

What are the optimal breeding conditions for killies?

Also I feed them blood worms.
 
You need to feed them more than bloodworms. Bloodworms alone is not enough.

The best conditioning you will get is with live foods, but if you can't get those, go with a variety of quality frozen.
 
I've read that many killies lay only a couple of eggs a day over the course of several days. Maybe that's what is occuring with your pair. The source that said they lay 15 eggs may have meant 15 eggs total after so many days. I'm not a killie breeder though, so not sure.
