i have had a couple of cool things in this area happen to me
went outta town one hour to pick up what the dude described as a walmart fish wall two of them and this is what i picked up

they will become the wall o betta tanks
then with another dude whos childhood tank i bought a 5 gallon steel rim tank his wife said he had had since he was a kid and these came with it

the date on the books is like 1968
im just interested in seeing what retro stuff yall got

hahah those books must be good for a laugh. those racks are cool too, i'd just test-fill them outside.

well i got the whole set up for $250 and they came with a heater an aqua clear mini for each tank and each bank is wired to run on one 110 plug :headbang2:
schweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet i can run 12 tanks using only one plug in

i cant belive it even acknowledges that fish bowls need a lot of care. that stuff is old skool, but that thing will make great betta condos

I'm in the process of fixing up a metal frame craigslist find....lemme tell ya, they used a LOT of silicone building that thing, I'll have carpal tunnel by the time it's scraped clean :D

lol nice. I kinda like the metal frame tanks better then the black trims. Ill have to keep an eye out for one.

I used to love going to the 5 and 10 store with my mom , I would head right to the metal frame fish tanks and check out the fish . Early 60's . What fun memories :)

The oldest thing I have as far as fish is my African Dwarf Frog who is about a year old now. Yeah, take that.

Anybody remember the old metal tops for those chromed out tanks?? I bet they have all rusted away by now! My Dad used to raise fancy tailed Guppies in them and I was given a small 5g for myself! With the corner box filter to boot!! It was in the bottom of those old metal aquarium stands!! I think it was like 1968.....
