how many cories can comfortably fit in a 30 gallon long tank with 15 neons and 3 guppies?

I would suggest 5 or 6 so they can feel comfortable and school.

It really does depend what sort of cories you want if you want small cories like panda's then i think you could have about 8, if you plan on having any of the larger cories then as pinkertd suggested i would go with 5 or 6.

well i already have 2 but they are breeding and im wanting to know how many of the babies i can keep hold of and how many i should rehome, il keep 4 and bulk them out to 6. il rehome any others.thanks for the help x

As another data point, I have 6 Sterbai Corys (smaller species, sort of like Pandas) in a 29g community tank. They were also doing well in a 20g before I moved them all over last weekend. It's not just about bioload, but also about various swimming levels for the other fish in the tank. I also have six hatchets in the tank, but they are surface level fish and so both schools enjoy lots of space for roaming.

well thats what i thought, maybe up to 8, but i dont want to crowd them in there, all the other fish all stay mid to top levels, so they wont be sharing their space with any other bottom dwellers. il just start adding them into the tank from the nursery tank gradually when they are big enough not to be snacks for the parent fish. i now have no idea how many babies i have as i added some gravel to the tank, and they have all blended in with the gravel, kinda wish i hadnt but hey ho its a bit late now, and im sure they are happier now they can hide.

I keep 8 small , medium , and large albino's in my 30 with no other fish. The tank is planted and since I switched this tank to live plants and added the cories about a month ago I have spawns just about every week.

The betta has been relocated to another tank.
