I found this beauty on freecycle. I have picked up a few other things on freecycle and they weren't in the greatest shape so my hopes weren't very high. But when I went and picked this tank up I was pleasantly surprised. It's a 29 gal and the tank and stand are in very good shape. Some minimal cleaning and I'll be able to get it up and running...:nilly:...the lights work too. I also have room for a future free tank on the bottom too.

Yes that is an illuminated animated santa behind the tank which will be on the front lawn soon...;)

sweet deal. My 29 was a little cheap, $40 but included a stand I don't use. Good find.

I love freecycle, that's where I got a whole 10 gallon setup wich is currently my Cherry Shrimp farm. Good luck with your tank.

Thanks! I'm planning it as another growout tank for now. I'm sure eventually it will be used for something more exciting.

I actually got the fish from a friend who decided to make their tank into a reef tank...and yes I'm almost positive it is a male and female pair of GBR's.
Nice angel and rams :) , Wish my angel looked that good.
