Snail Vomit? or snail younglings?

??? :werd: ... just did this earlier then he/she flopped to the tank bottom... Still alive and moving, currently climbing up on the filter intake tube.

if this is a bridgesii (mystery snail) that's not snail young. They lay egg clutches above the water line which hatch into the water.

...Possible that it's snail barf? I wasn't even aware they had the ability to regurgitate.
 
It was listed as a Golden Inca snail at the LFS... and I'm not sure if it has enough room to get above the water-line in my tank (with plastic cover in place), maybe it has been trying but I never noticed.

I scooped out what I could, just figured it was something not setting well in the snail's innards. :)

My snail is certainly more refined and she wouldn't think of stooping to such behaviour.

Seriously..... do snails eat poop? I didn't think there was anything out there, other than my 12 pound female terrier mix Chibi, that would eat poop.
