Any opinions of this filter setup before I install it? I alwasy thought it looked like a nice setup so I got one.

Have no experience with it on saltwater, but have 20 of them on FW. There isn't a more consistent, longer lasting canister filter out there. Some of mine are over 20 yrs old.

Personally I would not run a canister on a salty tank.

Ive also run them on FW tanks and my only issue with them is that its a bit of a pain to get all the air out of them.

they are a ton easier than pump priming the other canisters,..
