Hi. Would like to put a Vallisneria plant in my fancy goldfish tank - stock is 3 fancies and an Apple snail. Well, could be a Mystery snail, not sure yet, but anyway it doesn't eat my Anubias or my Java Ferns. My question is, are my fancies going to ravage it??

Vallisnerias are tough. They should be fine. If your snail never ate your plants, then it's a brig unlike canas which do not care what plant they want to eat.

If they can withstand African Cichlids, then they should stand against Goldfish.
