Well I discovered today that my angelfish, well one of them, has laid eggs on my filter intake tube. I did some research online and it says the eggs should be golden? These eggs are white...does this mean their not fertile? Or are these eggs just REAL fresh?
Thanks

They're more than likely not fertilized... Is this the first time it's happend? If so, then you more than likely have a male and female, just don't know how to get through it yet, or not taking the effort.
When you say 'white', do you mean solid white? They should be more translucent and on the clear side. Are you sure the other one is a male? Could very well be two females also.

hrmm...well from what i remember the eggs where more of a solid white..well i went back to look to see if they changed and double check the color but they are all gone :( i know i wasnt going crazy but my wife saw them too so...
I have 5 in a 50gal tank..2 blacks and 3 marble, and 1pleco... Somebody prolly ate them..I'm trying to either get a long aquarium or a couple small ones that way i can seperate them...
if they try to breed again when would i expect this to happen so i know when to look for the eggs?
With that many Angelfish you could see eggs today! Depends on how many are females. You will have to watch to see if any 2 are cleaning off any area in the tank. Then the female's tube will come down and she could be laying eggs any time.
