Can anyone tell me what the gestation period is for a parrot egg. And just
for the sake of argument lets just say the eggs are fertile. How long from
egg to fry. I have googled this and seems the same question asked but no
one has a answer. Any help please. Thank you.

Is she a female? and did she breed with a male parrot or other fish? The rerason Im asking is parrots are sterile. so if she mated with another diffferent fish then you may have little ones with in 2 weeks, but if she mated with a male parrot your not going to get anything.
I had a male parrot breed with my fire mouth, I had eggs every week. never hatched :)

granny,
I have 2 females and 4 males in the same tank. Someone had the whole
tank, lights filters etc etc on craigslist. Ive only had them 3 weeks and
already they are laying eggs. The one female, all her eggs are white. She
is a blood parrot. The other female is a flower horn parrot her eggs are all brown colored.

Not all male parrots are sterile.

If the eggs are white they are not viable. I have two blood parrots that are always breeding and have yet to get any viable eggs. They just end up turning white and being snail food.

From what I have read females will drop eggs but there is a very small chance that the males are not sterile and will be able to fertilize...
