Ok, so here is my 10. Hopefully by next weekend it will be the home of some dwarf puffers. Anyway, i'm looking for some suggestions for plants to kind of fill it in. So far the plants i have are doing good except for the anacharis. Its not dying but is kind of pale(?) i guess. Not real green. And my java moss isn't filling in as fast as i would like. Anyway, I think i might move the crypt that is in the back by the heater and fill in the back with some ludwigia repens and "attempt" to grow some dwarf hairgrass in the foreground. Not sure if i have enough light for that. But other than that anyone have any suggestions as to some good plants that would look nice and provide some good breaks of line of sight? I have 2 15 watt spiral cfls with reflectors and just started with DIY CO2. Thanks

Move the anubias onto the driftwood, get some moss on there too.

Baby tears, hemianthus micranthemoides, will add a nice light green bush.

Rotala rotundifolia/indica is a popular background stem plant, will color up as it gets closer to the light.

Lobelia cardinalis small form could be used in the fore/midground.

Blyxa japonica can be used as a taller bushy grasslike plant.

All great suggestions and all should work with the lighting as well.

Wow thanks for all the suggestions. I do have very little java moss on the center driftwood. I took the little that was trying to grow in my under lit tank and put it in here. The anubias' rhizomes aren't buried so shouldn't they be ok where they are? They are putting out new roots and such. Is there a way to get java moss to spread on the wood instead of just growing longer? Do i just have to keep laying the strands down and tying them off?

The anubias looks a little big for a foreground plant, which was why I recommended they be moved to the driftwood. Lobelia cardinalis would look better in their place.

Just keep laying the moss strands out, they will continue to grow upward but will also eventually creep across the driftwood.

I also like dwarf saggitarius (sp?) and bacopa monnieri. Although I'd keep those in the back to mid portion of the tank.

Anubias like to grow on wood, from what I understand, so they would probably be healthier if they were tied to wood.
