what should I do with a common pleco that is about 8 inches.
his tail is bent, or deformed and his swim bladder is not working right as in he can't sit on the bottom of the tank... totally getting rid of all the fish in the tank and some of the fish my lfs will take but the pleco and the old dyed tetras they won't take what should I do with them???

the fish currently in the tank came with the total package of the tank stand and filter, lights

what exactly is wrong with his swim bladder? he is floating?

If he is sick(ie. actual swim bladder problems) I would put him down since you probably won't find anyone willing to take a sick fish.

If he is healthy then try selling him in the classified ads in your town, or try another LFS. If you town has a aquarium club ask around there is anyone wants him(they might even be willing to take a sick fish)

i had a little marble high fin pleco with the same problem, it could sit on the bottom, but it would have to try, and it just got worse and worse. he started with just a stability problem, he would be sitting on the bottom, then just flip over slowly then right himself again. then he could only get down he he swam, then he would just float back up, he died about a week and a half after the problem developed.

he choses to rest on the underside of the cross braces on the acrylic tank cause he can only descend under power.

the water hadn't been changed in a while when I got the tank and the mostly new water I put in was a bit higher in ph but not a lot
