Collecting snails?

I have quite a few snails in a tank that I am emptying into a bigger 55 gallon tank. How could I gather up these snails for transport into the bigger tank? I was thinking of maybe dropping a piece of cucumber in the tank and seeing if that attracts them, but are there any suggestions?

lettuce works in my tank for many, and picking out the ones i can see and get a hold of.

Green beans are the bomb. All my snails go nuts over green beans from a can rinsed well.

A lettuce leave weighed down by a little stone is usually covered by hundreds of snails the next morning.
