I just did a no-no! I took one of my unused 55's and put it under the 100. Stuck the hood on it and an unused heater. Nothing plugged in and no water. Just sitting there empty. The proverbial fan got hit but thankfully it was a small hit. I haven't even decided what to do with it if anything, but it sure looks better than nothing on the bottom! Can't believe I am getting flak over an empty tank. But wife knows as well as I do that at some point it will no longer be empty.

Oh well; win a few, lose a few!

Hehe...I have an empty 30 sitting under my 55 gal at my parents house. Has a power filter sitting on the rim and some light decor.

I put it there for my catfish fry, thing is my catfish hardly ever ( never) want to spawn so it sits empty. Maybe I'll use it for older betta fry as bettas as far more horny then plecos and synos.

I would be careful filling that up, jeff.. the stand that I gave you to go with the 100g is not exactly made to support a second tank underneath.. those dowels are only tack-welded on, and from the bottom, IIRC.
