Can i stock angels with black skirted tetras in a 40 gallon? and if so how many can i have of each. if i cant put black skirted tetras with angels are there any fish i can put in with angels? all the fish will be introduced at once and my tank has been running for few years i would just liek to change the stoking option.

Two angles 6-8 tetras. Should be a nice tank. maybe some cories or a bristle nose?

i would stick with one angel unless they are a breeding pair.

:iagree:

You could also stick some juvies in there and wait until they pair off then return the others.

No they should pretty much leave them alone.

I agree...the black skirts are large enough to not be eaten and the angels shouldn't bother them at all.

my only worry is if i get a mating pair will they terrorize the tetras.

They will defend their area but shouldn't cause any physical harm to the tetras, maybe some chasing but that's all...

It can be quite the show. A good pair is a site to see in action defending a spawn.
