What will clean this from my plants?

What can I do to clean this stuff off of my plants?
Snails, Shrimp, SAE, Flag Fish, or ?

This is part of the reason why I got rid of allot of my plants..
I will be dosing dry ferts on a set schedule starting this Monday, but that's not what I'm asking about in this post :)

What would you rate the Nerite's and the Rams Horn's snails?

What algae will snails eat that Shrimp will not eat?

... I'm looking for something to take care of the problem that I have now, not to solve the problem that caused this.
I can't just throw my plants away, I need to clean them so I can keep them.

I knew someone one was going to say that ;)
Is why I mentioned Dosing on a schedule on Monday, since that will bring me closer to a balance then what I have right now and is usually the answers when someone is asking how to prevent this issue.

Clithon Corona snails are the same species as Nerite snails?
I want some Nerite's, but they are just so hard and exspensive to find :(
