Eheim 2231 for what size tank?

I would like to know how large a tank the Eheim 2231 canister filter can handle? I ask because I found a discrepancy with what is listed on the Eheim 2231 box: 1. 16-26 US gal. tank @ 127 gph AND what's listed on the Eheim site: up to 35 US gal. tank. Does anyone know what is the correct specs?:confused:

It really depends on your fish load, but I'd say tanks up to 35g.
