I have just purchased an aquaclear 30 powerhead with a filter attachment and i have not fitted the air pipe,how quiet are they supposed to be because i can hear mine when it is submerged and when it is just protruding over the water. It is not loud loud just you can hear it working is this normal ? It is not a rattly sound by the way just an impeller sound.
P.S. Should i have the flow on reduced or full flow ?
