Hi, I would like to start with african cichlids in a 20 gallon long...from what I have read the shell dwellers will be ideal for this tank size considering thats the biggest I can house in my small apartment.

I know my local stores don't have any. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any breeders in NC that might have some. Or perhaps if any one as experience with other sources outside NC that would be appreciated as well.

Thanks

Well hickory is not too bad but instead of driving what 2.5/3 hrs??? from RTP maybe I could get it shipped priority. Priority usually gets within state overnight from my experience anyway. What do you think?

Thanks

if you dont mind shipping there are many online breeders that will have a very wide seletion of fish. here is a short list

this last one is a list of cichlid importers or salers

Well I figured if I could find a breeder in NC then I could either go pick up the fish if nearby or they could ship by regular mail and I could save...since overnight from other states is expensive.

So any NC locals breeding africans that might have some shell dwellers?

Thanks
