I was just looking around on ebay to get another drop checker for my brothers tank. The one I got before was from Hong Kong, and it was extremely cheap. So I was about to get another one when I saw this.

and a crazy diffuser too. it kind of just looks like a bell diffuser.

I bought the first one, all I needed was the drop checker, but it comes with a bubble counter and diffuser too. I'll mod that some way.:thm:

Will that work on a DIY (yeast and sugar) system? Is there a point to use it with a DIY system?

I just got it yesturday. Im sure you could use everything with DIY, But I think the diffuser canister you would need a water pump, if not then it will be just a Bell type of diffuser. I need to think of a way to use it with out needing a water pump...

interesting.
I am assuming that they are made of plastic?

Yes they are. I was thinking of getting a hose barb, attaching it into my output tubing from my canister, and put that onto the diffuser. Instead of having a separate water pump. Or like BK said, its better to have less junk in my aquarium, so I probably wont do it. Ill just stick with the CO2 directly into the intake...
