Will hornwort survive in a tank with dempsey, jags, or Oscars?

Maybe. Hornwort is usually bitter to fish (I wonder how they figured that out) and often survives in unlikely settings. I think it is not so much the type of fish as it is their taste buds.
I have guppies that eat everything except Java Moss, and yet I have other fish that go to town on it. When I had Hornwort, it didn't last long in any of my tanks except the community tank.
