hi all
well, finally netted my monster pleco out of my 40 gal, and am thinking of going in a new direction for my freshwater.
it is heavily planted, been up and running for about a year. lots of driftwood, java fern, anubias, swords, watersprite, water onions and banana plants.
inhabitants are as follows,
nice colony of japonica (20+)
6 ottos
1 redtailed shark (4")
3 marbled angels
4 candystriped gobies
i am not opposed to trading in the angels, so my question is.. what would you do?
i would like a school of tetras, which would be the best combo of coloration and hardiness, ie.. rummynose vs. cardinals vs. harlequin rasboras etc...
for a larger fish dwarf gouramis vs. blue rams.. what about young discus??
what about bottom feeders?? do away with the gobies and go with corydoras?? which species??
the driftwood is a large factor in the tank, so i am looking for a nice contrast to its reddish/brown color, the plants and light-colored gravel...
thanks for opinions and advice.....
