fine sand

hi everyone, first post,
does anyone have any experience using very fine sand as a substrate? i dont have any ferts or tabs or anything in the sand.
what kind of plants could i grow?

Almost any plant can grow there just fine. You will want Malaysian trumpet snails though to help stir the sand. Plant roots might choke if the sand becomes compact. Dead pockets aren't exactly welcome either as they release hydrogen sulfide if disturbed which smells as bad as rotten eggs and will likely kill your fish.
