Rotala rotundifolia
It grows fairly quick (really quickly in higher light!). If you let a stem float on the surface, several stems will bud off of it and grow into new stems.

Looks like Rotala indica to me. I have a ton. Same as Rotala Rotundifolia. It is a very versatile plant. It can be grown tall or short if you prune it. Some stems bend down to the gravel and root then turn into runners. I prune once a week in my low light tanks.

I have looked up both and now am wondering if the difffernce between the two are the size and shape of the leaves? Or if the pics I am looking at just apear to have slightly differnt shaped leaves.this actually looks from the pics I saw like Rotala rotundifolia because of the shape of the leaves. It does have a slight pink tone to it on the new growth.
thanks folks!

The differences are available lighting and nutrients. There is only one Rotala Rotundifolia.
Rotal Indica is not the correct name. That's another internet error.
True Inica is actually Ammonnia Sp. 'Bonsai'

internet error?

I stand corrected that they are different plants.

Wiki discriptions of the differences makes it sound like the 2 look the same except for where they flower from but evey picture I saw of Ammannia Sp. 'Bonsai' looks very different from Rotala Rotundifolia. I don't understand why the mix up ever began. Many sites that sell plants have Rotundifoilia listed with Indica as an AKA. Sheesh. I got my notion of them being the same from these plant sites. Whatever. Glad I now know.

No no... you have Rotala Rotundifolia for sure. I have it too. It grows like weeds and I'm sure You will be throwing it away in a few months like I do. I have to prune every week.
