i couldn't figure out what was wrong with this picture, then i looked and the shutter didn't open all the way, but wow it made the picture nice,..lol
please excuse the dirty glass:uhoh:
also she laid them in the corner on the seal so i don't think that i will be able to get them off of there ..

nice, congrats. I leave my eggs in situe these days, only had one clutch that didnt get to hatch due to where she layed it. Im sure it will do ok where it is.

Now do you need both male and female snails to lay or are the Asexual?

You need both sexes for a fertile clutch though females will also lay as a part of normal reproductive health

Dex you need both male and female snails in order for them to reproduce. It's difficult to sex apple snails for most people, so if you want to breed them, it's best to have 3-4 total to ensure you have a male and female. Cool pics, sharon! The first one looks kinda artsy with the black blurry edges.

LOL your camera wasn't fully awake yet either! I've never really kept snails or seen them lay eggs. This is really interesting, nice shots!
that first picture makes me feel a little guilty like I'm watching the egg-laying through a hole and intruding on her privacy :perv:
