Anyone have any personal experience with curviceps??

Just got 3 of these guys from petsmart, clearance for 1.75 each. They've been in the store over a month and started out at 6.99. There sitting on the bottom of the tank like rocks and never swam around, well they've picked up a lot and are eating well.

Can anyone let me know some personal experience with these guys? they seem well tempered and hopefully they will color up. I know there are a couple different species of curviceps, but any info would be great thanks.

Been about 20 years. Pretty little fish. They'll color up when they get accomodated to their surroundings. Get light blue spangles, not quite as intense as a Dempsey or blue acara. Spawned easily, but I never made a concerted effort to save the eggs and I remember they always fungused. Not aggressive unless spawning, and even then not extremely as long as everything else in the tank remained a reasonable distance away. Not picky as far as eating goes. I'll definitely pick some up if I come across them again.
