since most people see them in the store at 1-2 inches, just thought i'd show a near adult. this one is about 5 inches and recently had a all day battle with a 4.5 incher over territory. these guys both would be beaten to near death by the 5 inch red tail black shark i have in another tank. the red tail just doesnt like the shape of them i guess.
unfortunately the tail is the only bit in focus. that camera is constantly kickin my butt.

The tail on yours is very vividly spotted. Mine is 6 inches and old, his spots are lighter. Plus he's a wuss, the guppies pick on him! Look at that face! I think they're so cute!

How old are yours? Aren't they supposed to get 12"? I remember seeing one that was quite big, around 8".

this one is close to a year old. i had an older, bigger one maybe 6"
He was afraid of everything and leaped out of the tank, wiggled across the kitchen counter, only to dry up in the sink before somebody found him.
