Copper sulphate/sulfate

I can't find a definite answer on this when I searched. So I'm hoping some one knows.

Should I not be feeding my inverts (I have cherry shrimp and will be getting other kinds soon) food that has copper sulphate in it?

I also made a thread about this topic and searched and all the threads seems to say it is okay to feed the types of food that contains copper. Supposedly only with low doses and that the copper is not as much in the fish food.

I haven't seen any reports of ill effects on inverts but i try to avoid any foods with copper proteinate or copper sulfate, even if it's pretty far down on the list of ingredients.
