Here are my stats using the API freshwater master test kit and Nutrafin carbonate/and general hardness test. According to the instructions having a KH of 70mg is normally associated with a low pH. But as you can see my pH (if the test is right) isn't low. Why do you think that is and a follow up question? Are these stats acceptable for discus keeping? Also in the past I tried using Blackwater extract and another separate time Keta-Peat Nuggets in the filter. I don't believe either of these lowered the pH. I’m not sure but I was under the assumption they were suppose to lower pH.
