That is what I have been doing for the past year. Thought it might be a little easier to trim and such with tools.

Me too :thm:. From what I've read a lot of people use tweezers.

I have one deep tank. It's about 110 gallons and tall. I use a 24" pair of scissors and some plastic tongs that you can get at petco or whatever. That allows me to plant and trim. Nothing too fancy though.

The only tank I have that is deep is my 180 but its not planted just loaded with Africans. The planted tanks are 75 and down.

I use similar long tweezers & some little kid-sized scissors to plant & trim HM. Other than that, I tend to bare-hand it, but I can reach the bottom of my tanks.

Same, I see little reason to use tools and such.

What do you use to trim plants? Just your hands or regular scissors.

Thinkin' of changin' my user name to Wet Sleeves. I've got two tanks that are 31" tall, and only one of them that I was smart enough to sit low enough to reach into without scuba gear. Two handed chores are exciting and no matter what you may think to the contrary...even 72f. can feel chilly.
