Before dropping snails in the tank

Do I need to do anything once I get my shipment of snails, or do I just plop them out of the bag and into my tank?

What kind of snails? Acclimate them for temperature and Ph as you would any other fish. Most snails are pretty sturdy.

jag , i had the same question when i got mine . so not having time to wait for an answer i acclimated them just like i would do with a new fish. it seemed to work as they are happily cruising my tank now
